HR Coordinator

Work closely with our General Manager to shape Sparro’s HR & employee experience

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing internal processes & recruitment team within the digital marketing industry, creating best-in-class employee experience for a fun, diverse, and inclusive team.

The HR Coordinator will work closely with the General Manager and Business Partners, with regular mentoring sessions and exposure to decision-making processes.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the growing Sparro team

You will be

  • Liaising with hiring managers and recruitment partners to drive the full recruitment lifecycle of preparing, sourcing, screening, selecting, hiring, and onboarding
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the General Manager and Partners, and the broader team to identify and resolve resourcing needs (both recruitment and staff capability building).
  • Accurately keeping records and reporting maintaining and optimising use of systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement/enhancement 
  • Providing research, advice and implementation of HR systems and processes such as induction, orientation and probation arrangements 
  • Building, managing, and improving employee onboarding functions and documentation
  • Championing the employee experience, including employee recognition and feedback initiatives
  • Assisting with workplace grievances and investigations as required providing support and advice to leaders and staff in line with legislation and policy
  • Communicating effectively, both written and verbal, displaying sensitivity and understanding, diplomacy and discretion in dealing with sensitive matters
  • Promoting the Sparro values and culture in all that you do
  • Supporting the General Manager with other HR matters as required

  • Ability to apply technical expertise to perform the role at a high level of accomplishment
  • Qualifications in Human Resources/Business Administration, ideally with 2-3 years experience working in a HR or Recruitment role
