BE THE FUTURE OF DIGITAL MARKETING

As a Media Coordinator at Sparro, you’ll play a key supporting role across a diverse range of digital-first media campaigns, with exposure to offline channels. Working closely with our Media and Planning team, you’ll assist in the execution of cross-channel strategies — particularly within programmatic platforms, paid media channels, and emerging digital formats. This is an ideal entry-level role for someone eager to grow deep expertise in the evolving world of media buying, audience strategy, and analytics.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop knowledge and an understanding of digital marketing strategy and concepts.
  • Gain familiarity with the digital media landscape, including publishers, vendors, and buying technologies.
  • Support the planning and buying team in the execution, monitoring, and reporting of campaigns.
  • Assist in liaising with clients at a tactical, implementation level.
  • Help deliver on campaign goals across digital channels, including 
    • Display
    • Online Video (incl. YouTube, CTV/VOD),
    • Digital Audio (e.g. Podcasts / Streaming, Spotify)
    • Digital Out of Home (DOOH)
  • Participate and present client reporting; identifying and communicating new opportunities, value delivered, and strategic direction.
  • Support the team in offline media touchpoints, where relevant (e.g. radio, print or OOH), to understand how integrated campaigns work.
  • Contribute to the ongoing refinement of best practices and media processes.
  • Promote the Sparro values and culture. 
SKILLS
  • Required
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
    • Enthusiastic team player with a desire to grow in the media and advertising industry.
    • Strong interest in digital platforms, programmatic technology, and performance marketing.
    • An analytical mindset and attention to detail.
    • Ability to absorb feedback and work towards continuous improvement.
    • Proficient spreadsheet skills.

    Preferred, but not essential:

    • Familiarity with Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) such as Display & Video 360 (DV360), The Trade Desk, Xandr, and other digital marketing platforms.
    • Exposure to or interest in platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, or similar digital tools.
    • Knowledge or curiosity about offline media channels such as radio or OOH and how they contribute to full-funnel strategy.

The Media Coordinator will work closely with the Programmatic team and be able to learn and grow as part of the team through on the job mentoring and support from the team and other senior leaders within the business.
