THE ROLE

Deliver challenge, innovation and grow our expertise.

The Account Manager works across multiple accounts, leading client communication within a team of digital marketers and across a suite of clients. They will manage team members and work to lead and develop relationships with clients, and service key clients directly. 

They are a process-driven professional and T-shaped marketer with hands-on skills in one discipline and a strong working knowledge of most major channels.

Our client list includes some of Australia’s leading retailers and corporates; many with 5+ years of tenure.

As a growing business, we’re looking to be challenged, ourselves. There’s huge scope to impact the future of Sparro, including our diversification and growth.

Key Responsiblities

  • Successfully build relationships with new and existing clients to understand high-level business problems and objectives. 
  • Develop and manage client projects in line with business and channel objectives.
  • Raise the level of business communications, client services and commercial sense within the teams
  • Work with the business Partners and senior leaders to grow client spend, increase retention and onboard new clients; positioning Sparro as Australia’s leading digital marketing agency.
  • Assist in client pitching.
  • Be an ambassador for the Sparro values and culture.

Skills

  • Highly-effective and confident client, stakeholder and staff management skills; including the ability to plan and host client and staff workshops, training sessions, pitches and meetings.
  • An advanced ability to independently plan, strategise, and mobilise to achieve a project.
  • A confident and considered approach to problem solving and project management.
  • Hands-on skills in at least one marketing discipline – including individual channels, data/analytics, creative, PR or SEO.
  • An ability to explore and workshop business objectives, drawing on the team’s data and digital skills to develop project plans.
