The B2B Account Manager works across multiple business-to-business accounts, leading client communication within a team of digital marketers and across a suite of clients. They will manage team members and work to lead and develop relationships with clients, and service key clients directly. They will also help to build the Sparro B2B offering across media, marketing automation, content and SEO; leveraging internal experts and stakeholders.

They are a process-driven professional and T-shaped marketer with hands-on skills in one discipline and a strong working knowledge of most major channels.

Our client list includes some of Australia’s leading retailers and corporates; many with 5+ years of tenure.

Key responsibilities

  • Successfully build relationships with new and existing clients to understand high-level business problems and objectives. 
  • Develop and manage client projects in line with business and channel objectives.
  • Raise the level of business communications, client services and commercial sense within the teams
  • Work with the business Partners and senior leaders to grow client spend, increase retention and onboard new clients; positioning Sparro as Australia’s leading digital marketing agency.
  • Assist in client pitching.
  • Be an ambassador for the Sparro values and culture.

  • Highly-effective and confident client, stakeholder and staff management skills; including the ability to plan and host client and staff workshops, training sessions, pitches and meetings.
  • Proven experience in B2B and lead generation marketing.
  • An advanced ability to independently plan, strategise, and mobilise to achieve a project.
  • A confident and considered approach to problem solving and project management.
  • An ability to explore and workshop business objectives, drawing on the team’s data and digital skills to develop project plans.
