The Data Operations Executive will work within the data team at Sparro to implement technical and tracking requirements for our clients, reporting to the Senior Media Specialist. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing data and technology team within the digital marketing industry, creating best-in-class tracking solutions that align with the overall Sparro strategy and market requirements.


Create best-in-class tracking solutions

You will be

  • Building effective working relationships with staff and key clients. 
  • Offering guidance in client consultation and costing of tracking and analytics projects.
  • Working with content management systems, marketing channels (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Campaign Manager (previously DCM), analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Google Optimise) and Google Tag Manager (GTM). 
  • Working with the SEO team to implement changes to site elements through GTM.
  • Creating and maintaining user documentation for development and tracking solutions.


You will

  • Promoting opportunities for efficiency through a repository and frontend application for solutions, tutorials, and by scoping requirements from multiple teams.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest developments of tracking technologies within the industry.
  • Pushing and optimising the internal workflow in the project execution process. 
  • Testing, debugging and maintaining existing tracking solutions, creating a stable suite of tools and applications. 
  • Communicating with internal and external teams, give support in the whole execution process. 

You want to be a champion of advanced data and tracking solutions


  • 1-2 years of experience in digital analytics or operations roles.
  • Effective project management.
  • Strong attention to detail, thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Keen understanding and interest in technologies across a broad range of technologies and formats, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or other tag management solutions. 
  • Good logical thinking and math skills.


  • Understanding of at least one coding language (Javascript and/or HTML are preferred, but not essential).
  • An ability to quickly interpret a problem and mobilise to achieve a solution.
  • An ability to communicate problems and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong personal drive and motivation.
  • Original, creative thinking coupled with a strategic, outcomes-based mindset.
