The Analytics & Tracking Executive will work within the data team at Sparro to implement technical and tracking requirements for our clients, reporting to the Senior Data Specialist. 

The role covers the rollout of tracking for all major digital channels (Google Ads, Facebook Ads and more), as well as the implementation of GA3 and the newly-released GA4.

The role has huge impact to the measurement of our digital channels, playing a key role in clients’ media success.

THE ROLE

Create best-in-class tracking solutions

You will be

  • Driving client and business success through tracking implementation and maintenance of data
  • Creating end-to-end tracking solutions as briefed by the client leads
  • Working with content management systems, marketing channels (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Campaign Manager (previously DCM), content management systems (Shopify, BigCommerce, WordPress) analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Google Optimise) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Implementing our rollout of GA4 to clients, including developing documentation and processes
  • Offering support & guidance for internal teams in getting a buy-in of the tracking and analytics projects
  • Creating and maintaining user documentation for development and tracking solutions

You will

  • Creating and maintaining documentation of various tracking solutions in the internal repository platform for knowledge sharing purposes
  • Keeping abreast of the latest developments of tracking technologies within the industry
  • Conducting research and testing to develop new ideas and solutions
  • Align with the data team on major client data projects – offering insight into BigQuery, data science and Python
  • Developing, optimising, and advocating for the internal tracking briefing and troubleshooting process
  • Testing, debugging and maintaining existing tracking solutions, creating a stable suite of tools and applications
  • Communicating with internal and external teams, give support in the whole execution process

Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in digital analytics or operations roles
  • Effective project management
  • Strong attention to detail, thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Keen understanding and interest in technologies across a broad range of technologies and formats, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or other tag management solutions
  • Good logical thinking and math skills

Skills

  • Understanding or skills in at least one coding language (Javascript and/or HTML are preferred, but not essential)
  • An ability to quickly interpret a problem and mobilise to achieve a solution
  • An ability to communicate problems and solutions to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong personal drive and motivation
  • Original, creative thinking coupled with a strategic, outcomes-based mindset
