The Digital Marketing Manager works across multiple Paid Media and SEO channels and accounts, leading a team of digital marketers and a suite of clients. The position empowers team members to lead and develop relationships with clients, and services major clients directly.


Responsible for independently managing relationships with new and existing clients while developing online marketing strategies across SEO and Paid Media channels to meet and exceed the objectives of clients.


  • Liaise with key clients and internal stakeholders at a senior level, developing strong professional relationships.
  •  Develop and manage client projects in line with business and channel objectives. 
  • Coordinate and support team members to develop and implement channel-level solutions and strategies. 
  • Constantly seek efficiencies and improvements 
  • Develop cluster skills, culture and confidence in line with business direction and client requirements.
  • Work with the business Partners to grow client spend, maintain retention and onboard new clients.
  •  Champion the adoption of dynamic, data-driven strategies and projects for the business and clients
  • Lead brainstorms and workshops to help land on campaign concepts and strategies.
  • Assist in company hiring and client pitching.
  • Be an ambassador for the Sparro values and culture.

Your skills

  • Highly-effective and confident client, stakeholder and staff management skills; including the ability to plan and host client and staff workshops, training sessions, pitches and meetings. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information into simple deliverables.
  • An advanced ability to independently plan, strategise, and mobilise to achieve a project.
  •  A confident and considered approach to problem solving and project management.
  • Full awareness of digital channels and tactics.
  • An ability to explore and workshop business objectives, using data and digital skills to develop project plans.

The performance of the Digital Marketing Manager will be determined based on their ability to:

  • Engage clients in Sparro’s digital marketing offering, value and strategies. 
  • Develop client relationships, positioning Sparro as a key business partner. 
  • Manage and support team members’ skills, experience and confidence.
  • Develop and grow the wider professional offering of Sparro – conceptually and through technology. 
  • Contribute to the values and culture of Sparro.

The Digital Marketing Manager will work in a cluster, with regular mentoring sessions from their Team Lead and other senior leaders. These sessions will provide support for the ongoing development of the employee to ensure their fulfilment and success within the company.
