THE ROLE

We’re looking for a talented Video Editor to create engaging, scroll-stopping video content across social media and digital platforms. You’ll work closely with our content and creative teams to turn ideas, briefs and raw footage into high-quality videos that inform, entertain and drive results.

This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes video, understands what performs on social, and is always experimenting with new styles, formats and trends.

  • Produce high-quality, eye-catching video content that elevates our client brands and campaigns
  • Set and maintain a high standard for video output across all channels
  • Ensure consistency in tone, style and quality across regular content
  • Improve engagement and performance through creative iteration and optimisation
  • Stay ahead of video and social media trends, formats and best practices

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Edit short- and long-form video content for social media, websites and digital campaigns
  • Transform raw footage into compelling narratives using strong storytelling and pacing
  • Select attention-grabbing shots and create moments that hook audiences in the first few seconds
  • Integrate music, sound design, dialogue, effects and motion graphics to enhance impact
  • Adapt content for multiple platforms, formats and aspect ratios (e.g. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)
  • Work to briefs, brand guidelines and creative direction while contributing ideas and improvements
  • Implement feedback from stakeholders and iterate quickly when needed
  • Organise, manage and maintain video files, assets and project libraries

 

SKILLS
  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio or showreel demonstrating engaging digital or social content
  • Strong understanding of modern video storytelling, composition, pacing and visual aesthetic
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects experience is a plus
  • Solid knowledge of sound, music and basic sound design
  • Strong attention to detail and a sharp eye for what makes content engaging
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with creatives and stakeholders

 

Preferred / Bonus Skills

  • Experience creating motion graphics or animated elements
  • Understanding of video performance metrics and optimisation for social platforms
  • Knowledge of video encoding formats, aspect ratios and delivery requirements
  • Experience working with split or multi-track audio
  • Familiarity with the wider Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop)
